2019 Dodge Charger in Manassas, VA | Car Dealer

The 2019 Dodge Charger is a full-size four-door sedan with all the elements that make it an ideal family car. But it is also the fastest and most powerful production sedan on the market. The Charger is a great looking car and, even when stationary, its sculpted profile gives the impression of a cat that’s ready to pounce. Here are some of the features that make this car thrilling to drive.

Exterior Styling

Offered in SXT, GT, R/T, Scat Pack, and SRT Hellcat trims, even the base model Charger will turn heads. It sits low on 17-inch alloy wheels and features a bulging hood, projector headlights, distinctive LED daytime running lights, and dual bright exhaust tips. The competition can admire the continuous ribbon of rear lights as you disappear into the distance.

Opting for the all-wheel drive SXT adds 19-inch wheels and LED foglights. Stepping up to the GT gets you a hood air extractor, performance fascia and grille, and 20-inch wheels. Scat Pack adds a black performance spoiler, while the SRT Hellcat has high intensity discharge headlights, and a performance hood with dual heat extractors.

Power and Performance

SXT and GT models are powered by a 3.6-liter V-6 engine producing 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. In all-wheel drive models this engine is uprated to produce 300 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque.

The R/T features a 5.7-liter V-8 engine delivering 370 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque. In the Scat Pack is a 485 horsepower 6.4-liter V-8 which produces 475 pound-feet of torque. Topping the line-up is the SRT Hellcat with a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine pumping out an awesome 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. All engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Models with the V-6 will take you from 0 to 60 mph in a little over 6 seconds, while the R/T gets there in just over 5 seconds. The Scat Pack gets to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds and does the quarter mile in 12.4 seconds.

In the SRT Hellcat you will be pinned to your seat as it goes to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds and hits the quarter mile in 11.8 seconds as it heads to its top speed of over 200 mph (only on the track of course!).

To handle that power, the Hellcat has Brembo ultra high-performance brakes, Bilstein three mode adaptive damping suspension, and three mode electric power steering. On the track, you can use the launch control system.

Interior

The cloth or available leather performance seats have eight-way power adjustment to get you into the perfect driving position. In all but the SXT you have paddle shifters mounted on the multifunction steering wheel for seamless gear changes.

The 7-inch customizable digital driver information display provides you with all the key vehicle information you need. Stay connected on the go with the 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, smartphone integration, and Bluetooth for hands-free calling.
