With three engines available, you can get the power you need for your to-do list. The standard engine is a 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 with 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission. A 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel inline six-cylinder engine is available for more kick. This engine option offers up to 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque.
For the most power available in its class, the 2019 RAM 3500 has an available 6.7-liter High-Output Cummins Turbo Diesel option. This inline six-cylinder provides a shocking 1,000 pound-feet of torque and 400 horsepower.
- Impressive Capability
If you’re looking for the largest towing capacity, you’ll want to go with the high output engine option. When properly equipped, this engine can tow a whopping 35,100 pounds and can carry a maximum payload of 6,600 pounds. Thanks to a rear-axle structural cross member, front stabilizer bar, and a new re-engineered lightweight steel frame, the 2019 RAM 3500 has improved its capability while also reducing its frame weight. Tow with confidence and control with the available rear auto-level air suspension. This system automatically responds to shifting loads to provide safe trailering and towing for large loads.
- Lots of Trim Options
Five different trim levels with various cab and bed size options as well as two available drivetrains allow you to find the perfect RAM 3500 to match your needs. The base option is the Tradesman which comes with a regular or crew cab and an 8-foot or 6-foot 4-inch box. This base model offers loads of great features like a keyless entry system and push-button start.
The Big Horn or Lone Star model adds some unique styling features and offers the same configurations as the Tradesman. Chrome exterior accents take the exterior look up a notch. Upgrade to the Laramie trim for even more convenience features inside and out, but you’ll lose the option for a regular cab size. The Laramie Longhorn combines the features of the Laramie model and the unique style of the Longhorn.
Finally, the top trim level is the RAM 3500 Limited. With it, you’ll get a large touch screen, LED exterior lighting, chrome details, leather seating, and wood trim.
- Plenty of Space
