Cox Farms

Plan a trip to Cox Farms this year to enjoy all those classic fall activities. This family-owned farm is situated 14 miles north of Manassas, and its Cox Farms Fall Festival is one of the largest and most popular seasonal events in the area. You can head to the music stage to see who’s playing, take a 20-minute hayride, try to make your way through the Cornundrum corn maze, find that perfect pumpkin at the pumpkin patch, enjoy plenty of delicious fall festival food, and have some fun on the swings and slides.

Annual Fall Jubilee

The 37th Annual Fall Jubilee will come back to historic downtown Manassas on October 5, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This fall celebration offers a variety of fun activities for kids and adults to enjoy. You can dance along to the live music, play some games, check out the exciting entertainment, and explore the offerings at over 100 craft and community booths. Best of all, the jubilee is free to attend.

Bull Run Regional Park

If you want to get outside and take in the beauty of all those fall colors, plan a day at Bull Run Regional Park. Located eight miles north of Manassas, this 1,568-acre park has a variety of outdoor adventures waiting for you. One of the best ways to see the leaves is to head out on the hiking trails. The park has a trailhead for the 19.7-mile Bull Run Occoquan Trail, which is the longest natural surface trail in the area. For a unique perspective of the changing foliage, consider paddling part of the 40-mile Occoquan Watertrail.

Manassas Holiday Crafts, Desserts & Sweets

The Manassas Holiday Crafts, Desserts & Sweets celebration returns to the Manassas Museum Lawn this year. This family-friendly event will occur on October 27 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will include numerous fun activities. Children can enter the costume parade to compete for the best costume prize. You can also check out the dessert fair for plenty of sweet treats, decorate some pumpkins, and shop at the arts and crafts tables.

Stribling Orchard

If you’re interested in taking a trip to an apple orchard this fall, travel about 40 minutes west of Manassas to Stribling Orchard. This beautiful orchard offers more than just an opportunity to pick apples. You can also enjoy fresh cider, explore historic buildings, visit the farm animals, and shop for baked goods, local cheeses, honey, jams, jellies, and more at the Harvest House.
