KidsFest

Hosted by the Manassas Museum, KidsFest is the place to find the best family-friendly products and services. With interactive activities and entertainment, this festival offers the perfect setting for parents to discover everything the area has to offer.

The event takes place Saturday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 9101 Prince William St. There will be inflatables for the kids and carnival games. This event is a terrific way to celebrate International Kids Day, and admission is free.

Come to the Manassas campus of Northern Virginia Community College for this exciting event taught by NOVA faculty and area educators. Uncle Fred’s BBQ Smoke Shack food truck will be on-site to ease your hunger, and parking is free in designated “B” lots. However, do not park in “A” lots.

Festival Of Colors

In nearby Centreville, Virginia, is the Festival of Colors with Rich Sharma. Join your friends and neighbors Sunday, April 28 from noon to 8 p.m. at Bull Run Park’s special event center.

With music, dancing, food, and — of course — color, this festival is rumored to be the world’s happiest and most entertaining event. Visitors can have a beer or glass of wine, go shopping, and take part in kids’ activities. If you want to make new friends and lasting memories with the family, stop by the 2019 Festival of Colors. Regular admission at the gate is $10.

15th Annual Jazz Festival

Jazz lovers are invited to Manassas’s very own Jazz Festival that features live performances as well as wine, beer, and spirits from local wineries, distilleries, and craft breweries. The event kicks off at noon on Saturday, June 15 and runs until 7 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket and enjoy this terrific downtown event. Non-Taster tickets start at $20, or you can get the whole experience for $40 at the door.

World Heritage Festival

The 2019 World Heritage Festival makes its final stop at the Manassas Museum on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sample authentic ethnic food, fresh smoothies, and traditional beverages from local vendors, then enjoy a cultural performance show with folk dancers from around the world. Explore creations by over 60 artists including fine art, jewelry, and ceramics.

Grab the whole family or your partner in crime and hit your favorite Manassas festival. With so many events coming up, the hardest part is deciding what to do first.
