Hours, Admission, and Parking

The summer season hours run from June 14 through July 28. During these months, the park is open from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on weekends, and until 6 p.m. on weekdays. From July 29 until August 9, the park closes at 6 p.m. every day of the week. From August 12 through August 25, the hours change to noon until 6 p.m. Finally, the weekend of August 31, September 1 and 2 is the last weekend of the season and the park will be open from noon until 6 p.m. on those days.

Kids ages 2 years old and under are always free. Any guests who are under 48 inches will need to pay $12.25 per day for admission while anyone over that height will pay $16. Guests 60 years of age and older pay $9.50, and if you’re looking to hang out as a spectator without going on any slides, you can pay just $9.50 to enter the park. If you come after 4 p.m. during the week, you’ll only pay $10 per ticket. Season passes are also available.

Slides

Slides come in many shapes and sizes at SplashDown. The highest slides are two that start at the top of Pipeline Tower. This tower is four stories high and houses an enclosed body slide and an open slide for tubes. The Cannonball slide shoots you out over the water so you can really make a splash. For a smaller option, try the Tropical Twister, which is full of curves and fun turns. There are also four slides that are suitable for smaller guests.

Pools

With a large pool featuring a zero-depth gradual entry, families can play together. This activity pool offers some fun challenges like balancing logs and lily pads. SplashDown also has a 25-meter lap pool for those who want a workout. If you’re looking for a super relaxing experience, check out the lazy river. Hop on an inner tube and float along the water.

Kid-Friendly Spots

Thanks to the shallow area of the zero-depth entry pool, little ones will be safe to play with an adult present. There’s also a mushroom sprayer and a fun slide for toddlers. The Splash N’ Play program is a great option for families with smaller children. Every Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. from June 20 through August 8, the park opens its kid-friendly areas for parents and their children under 5 years old. Admission is only $5.75.

SplashDown Waterpark is a favorite spot in the area of northern Virginia. Plan your visit soon so you don’t miss out on the fun this season!
